Mauricio Mayorga serves as Director of Lidera tu Cambio, a leadership training program in San Jos, Costa Rica.

He holds a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and a Master of Arts in Communication from Regent University in Virginia and a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Broadcasting from John Brown University in Arkansas.
Prior to working for Lidera tu Cambio, Mauricio worked for Soderquist Leadership as Project Manager for Hispanic Leadership Development, facilitating content in Spanish.
He served for 14 years as Regional Director of Operations for Latin America for the Christian Broadcasting Network, CBN, establishing strategies for television programming, fundraising, counseling centers, and humanitarian outreach in 18 countries in the region.
In Washington D.C., he worked at the Leadership Institute where he developed fundraising strategies for political educational programs.
He has also been a professor at the University of Costa Rica, National University in Heredia and LEAD University, where he teaches Leadership. He also worked at University Latina where he co-founded the Center for Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, CLIE.

In 2010 he received the Global Leadership Award from The Bow Group and The Leadership Institute.

For the Government of Costa Rica, he has served as an advisor to the Minister of Interior in 2010 and 2011.
His professional responsibilities and personal experiences have allowed him to travel extensively throughout Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and the United States, where he also lived for six years.
