In a pair of home contests, Cameron averaged 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists to pace the No. 20 Golden Eagles to wins over Southwestern A.G. (Texas) and No. 16 Wayland Baptist (Texas) in the NAIA National Game of the Week.

Cameron also shot 42.9 percent from the floor over the two victories (12-of-28) and turned in 15 and 20-point performances, respectively, adding her fourth double-double of the year in the win over the rematch with the Flying Queens. Her outing against WBU marked the fifth time this season scoring 20 or more, and the 5-foot-10 forward almost posted her first-career triple-double, adding 10 boards and seven assists, a career-high, against Baptist.

The Golden Eagles, now in the midst of a seven-game win streak, face their toughest test yet this season on Thursday (Feb. 9). JBU will travel to Oklahoma City to face the No. 7 Stars in a 6 p.m. matchup.

With six games remaining in the regular season, John Brown is one game behind Wayland Baptist for the second seed in the 2017 Sooner Athletic Tournament and two games behind the league-leading Stars.
