Siloam Springs, Ark. (November 13, 2004) - The JBU men traveled to Jackson, Mississippi Friday to face Belhaven College. Though leading at halftime, the Eagles were unable to hold off Belhaven, ending the game with a 64-70 loss.
Shooting only 34% from the field, the Golden Eagles had a hard time putting points on the board. JBU led at half-time 36-31, but only scored 28 in the second half as opposed to Belhaven’s 39 second half points. Junior Brandon Cole was once again the leading scorer for JBU with 25 points, including five treys. Mike Garland, junior, added 15 points to the total, 12 of the points from his four three-pointers. Junior Alex Terry contributed seven rebounds and six assists for the game.
The Eagles are on the road again Monday against Park University.
