Siloam Springs, Arkansas (February 7, 2012) - Sophomore volleyball player Staci Williamson of Siloam Springs, Ark. is one of six players across the nation that has been selected to participate in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Summer Volleyball Internship in Huntington, California this upcoming summer.

After an extensive interview process, Williamson along with five others from Iowa State, University of Mississippi, The College of Coastal Georgia, Palm Beach Atlantic (Fla.), and California State Fullerton was selected to be a part of this FCA volleyball experience.

“This internship will be a once in a life time opportunity,” said Williamson.  “But although I will be on a beach in California most of the summer playing the sport I love, it won’t be a vacation. I’ll be playing and coaching volleyball, training with top personal trainers, leading Bible studies, and planning events that will help me learn to be a better leader and challenge me in numerous ways.”

Williamson begins her work with the FCA on May 20, and it runs until August 1.
