Volleyball suffers two losses on the road

The Lady Eagles suffered losses against Wayland Baptist (Texas) with a final score of 0-3 (20-25,16-25, 16-25) and against Lubbock Christian (Texas) with a final score of 2-3 (17-25, 27-25, 20-25, 25-22, 12-15).  This leaves JBU with a record of 16-13 overall and 4-6 in conference play.

The Lady Eagles played Wayland Baptist on Friday night.  Allie Rankin had nine kills followed by Erin Didier with eight kills Erin McIlroy with seven.  Kailey Bain contributed 15 assists against WBU.

Libero Sarah Jordan led defensively with 15 digs followed by Staci Williamson and Aubrey Adams each with 10.

The next day, the team faced Lubbock Christian in a five-set match ending in a loss.  Didier led the team in kills with 17 followed by Rankin with 16. Bain led in assists, providing 33 of the team's total 56 assists followed by Adams with 17.

Defensively, Jordan led the Lady Eagles with 23 digs followed by Didier with 16 and Williamson with 11.

The Lady Eagles will take to the court again on the road against Southern Nazarene this Tuesday at 7 p.m.
