Golf finishes second after tiebreaker


McPherson, Kan. (September 14, 2010) - The JBU men’s golf team claimed second place at the Central Christian (Kan.) Invitational after losing the tiebreaker to Southwest Christian. Both teams shot a two-day total of 598.
The team that had the lowest fifth man score won the tiebreaker and claimed first place.
For day two, senior Jeff Hobble shot a 73, junior West Loveland a 74, junior Matt Brooker a 77, and sophomore Nathan Sudheimer had a 78. Sophomore Cameron Lindsey was JBU’s fifth man with a 79.
Loveland was JBU’s two-day leader with a 147.
The men will return to competition when they compete in the Oklahoma City U.C. Ferguson Classic on September 27-28.
