Basketball Signs Mississippi Standout

Siloam Springs, Ark. (March 5, 2008) - Adrian Miller, a 6-3 guard/forward combo from Hernando (Miss.) High School, has signed a national letter of intent to play men’s basketball at JBU in the fall.

Miller, who captained his team to a 28-7 record and regional title, averaged 14.2 points and 10.6 rebounds per game during his senior campaign. He also earned First Team All-Region honors.

“Adrian’s one of those kids that every coach would like to have,” said Hernando men’s basketball coach Josh Brooks. “He’s a great leader and can play multiple positions on the court.”

“Coach Brooks did a good job with those guys this year,” added JBU head men’s basketball coach Clark Sheehy. “Anytime you can get a student athlete that is as versatile as he is and knows how to win it’s a benefit to your program.”

Miller, who also received the Hernando Basketball Leadership Award as a junior and senior, plans to major in education.
