SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. -- The John Brown University men's tennis team placed four players on the RRAC/SAC Unaffiliated Group Regional All-Tournament team, headlined by freshman Stone Swieter and sophomore Nathan Kuykendall, tournament officials announced Monday (May 1) morning.

Swieter, from Rogers, Ark., completed a 1-1 mark at No. 4 singles action over the weekend while compiling a 1-2 No. 2 doubles record, which included one forfeit victory, and was named to the All-Tournament first team.

Joining Swieter on the first team was Claremore, Okla. native Kuykendall. Junior Fernando Hurley and sophomore Axel Betancourt were both named to the second team, bolstered by Betancourt's 1-2 doubles record at No. 3 and 1-0 mark at No. 5 singles action.

The Golden Eagles finished the 2016-17 season with a 5-13 overall record and a fourth place finish at the tournament.
