McCormick Breaks Robason’s JBU Scoring Record

Siloam Springs, Ark. (February 20, 2006) - With a basket just 36 seconds into John Brown’s 55-49 victory over Wayland Baptist Saturday, Kendra McCormick broke the JBU career scoring record, passing Holly Robason. McCormick is a four-year starter from Siloam Springs. With a current career field-goal percentage of 52.3, she is poised to break the school record in that category, held by Sofie Voordeckers (52.0), by the end of the season. Of special note, the top four scorers in JBU history are now Siloam Springs natives. McCormick, Robason, Katie Woodruff, and Carrie Penner all graduated from Siloam Springs High School.
