KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Freshman Baily Cameron added some hardware to her personal collection after being named to the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball All-America honorable mention team, the national office announced on Thursday (March 24) afternoon.

Players were selected by the NAIA-Womens Basketball Coaches Association All-America Committee. Each team - first, second and third - consists of 10 individuals.

The honors for Cameron follow up an already impressive freshman campaign that saw the forward collect All-Sooner Athletic First Team honors in addition to the conference's Freshman of the Year accolades.

"I'm very proud of Baily and the year she had for us," said head coach Jeff Soderquist. "This is a big honor for her, especially as a freshman. We are very excited about the future with Baily and our program."

In conference play, the freshman scored 238 points, averaging 13.2 points per game, and grabbed 142 rebounds to finish with a 7.9 average. Pulling down three double-doubles in SAC play, Cameron hit double-digit scoring in 11 of 18 games and topped 20 points on three occasions, including twice in her final six conference outings, and finished second in the league in field goal percentage (51.6 percent).

Cameron finished the season with 401 points and 220 rebounds and paced the Golden Eagles in average scoring (12.9), rebounding (7.1), rejections (17) and field goal percentage (53.1 percent). She also finished second on the squad in three-point shooting (40.5 percent).

Scoring at least 20 points on six occasions, Cameron's best outing came on Feb. 25 at St. Gregory's (Okla.), where she dropped a career-high 26 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field. She also grabbed six boards and dished out three helpers in the overtime loss.

Cameron closed out the season with two individual nation rankings, including No. 9 in field goal percentage and No. 26 in defensive rebounds per game (5.55).
