JBU Ranked 15 in NAIA Standings

Siloam Springs, Ark. (September 7, 2004) - After starting the season 11-0, JBU moved up to 15th in the NAIA standings, which is the highest ranking in the history of the program. The Golden Eagles began the season ranked 8th in the Red River Region, but have since moved up to 2nd. Each member of the Golden Eagles has been fulfilling their role and has contributed to the team’s success. Three players received conference recognition after last week’s competition. Senior Meghann Wharton was the SAC player of the week, Junior Christine Wells was the SAC Libero of the week, and Sophomore Juliana Todescan was the SAC setter of the week. Two players received regional recognition. Christine Wells was the Region VI Libero of the week and Juliana Todescan was the Region VI setter of the week.
