  • Work as facilitators, adventure leaders, outdoor ed instructors or zip line guides throughout their four years at JBU on our nearby ropes course and facilities.
  • Obtain key certifications in outdoor skills such as river canoeing, sea kayaking, back country travel, search and rescue, swift water rescue and mountain biking
  • Apply your knowledge through a variety of internships at a camp in the Sequoia National Park, running wilderness trips in northern Wisconsin, or counseling at a camp in Jamaica

International Opportunities

You can spend a summer working with an archeological excavation in Jordan, uncovering the ancient city of Abila of the Decapolis, scuba diving in the Red Sea, camping in the desert of Wadi Rum and more! For more information visit our International Programs Office.
