Position Summary
Contributes to the ongoing development of the Center for Healthy Relationship’s support for JBU’s students, faculty, and staff in providing resources for healthy relationships, such as workshops, curriculum, events, and expansion of the OpenDoor program. Will work directly with Executive Director to assess, develop and deliver innovative, current, and flexible educational resources. Part-time position; hours to be determined. Variation of schedule between school term and summer. Potential Grad Fellow assistance is available.

Position responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Executive Director to set objectives
- Reaches out to departments across campus to find points of connection and assess needs and opportunities to provide support and innovates programming and resources to meet the current needs of students.
- Engages in the composition and development of programmatic content
- Assists with the facilitation of relationship education workshops and seminars
- Promotes the work of the CHR across campus to students, faculty and staff
- Leads team of interns and students in advancing the work of the CHR
- Fosters good relations with the University community and general public
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential skills and experience
- Experience working with college-level students on interpersonal and mental health issues.
- Experienced in developing and assessing, designing, and delivering psycho-educational programming.
- Experience working with faculty and staff to develop cross-campus programming.
- Experience leading a team of paid staff and volunteers.
- Professional level interpersonal skills for interaction with faculty, staff and students.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Solid understanding of psycho-educational content as it relates to healthy relationships.
- Collaborative and experienced team player.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and an ability to create, input and analyze data sets within MS Excel.
Preferred skills and experience
- Familiarity with adult education
- Marriage & Family emphasis in the graduate program
Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- Masters level degree in pertinent discipline preferred
