Position Summary

Works on the Enrollment Leadership Team with the Director of Financial Aid and the Director of Admissions. Responsibilities include traveling externally (25% of the job) related to new market initiatives, supervising the admissions marketing and publications development, managing the communication flow and data analytics in building the recruitment funnel, working with recruitment consultants, working with the faculty recruitment task force, and working with IT staff on automation needs.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work with the VP for Enrollment to strengthen HS partnerships and build new market relationships. This may require approximately 25% of this person’s time traveling to schools within our primary five-state region (AR, OK, TX, MO, and KS).
  • Involved and supportive of organizations such as NACCAP, CCCU, and other state/regional/national associations.
  • Work closely with recruitment consultants and vendors, evaluate on-going agreements, and explore new opportunities.
  • Supervise the Admissions Systems Manager to ensure that our communication flow is effectively moving inquiries through the funnel and maximize conversion to applications and campus visits.
  • Give oversight and coordination on our admission recruitment publications, digital marketing, social media outreach, and work closely with the marketing and design coordinator to ensure that we meet printing deadlines and stay target with the budget.
  • Work closely with IT programmers to help our team achieve their automation objectives.
  • Work with Data Analyst/Director of Institutional Research in the use of available data to increase our decision-making effectiveness.
  • Set objectives and accomplish them without the need for frequent follow-up. 
  • Responsible for planning and control of the admissions marketing and consultant budgets.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Six or more years of enrollment or related experience. Previous supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of Access, Excel and spreadsheet construction on personal computers and understanding of various social media platforms.
  • Ability to stay current with emerging technologies.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with various constituents (faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni, parents, trustees, and others).

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience in predictive analytics and communication flow systems.


  • Bachelor's degree.  Master’s degree preferred.

Reporting to this position

  • Admissions Design/Marketing Coordinator, Systems Manager, student interns, and dotted-line reporting to GoldMine/CRM and Financial Aid Programmers.
