Position Summary

Responsibilities include providing support for University Advancement data projects and other administrative tasks that assist in meeting financial goals of University. This is a part-time position.

Position Responsibilities

  • Serves as department receptionist and phone support;
  • Reconciles and maintains ELI (online communication database);
  • Maintains & updates constituent records in Raiser’s Edge database;
  • Provides supports for Advancement team mailings, events, and data projects; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Professional office experience and working with public;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Task oriented, with ability to move multiple tasks forward, handling interruptions; and 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral. 

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

  • Non-profit or high education experience, preferably in data management or development.


  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Reporting to this position

  • No direct reports.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Physical demands:  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; stand; sit; use hands; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk and hear.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work environment:  The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.


The employee is expected to adhere to all University policies.
