Adjunct - Graduate Counseling

The Department of Graduate Counseling at JBU is currently inviting applications for Adjunct Faculty positions for the 2018-19 academic year.  Adjunct faculty responsibilities include teaching a maximum of 12 credit hours per calendar year within the Department’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) and Marriage & Family Therapy (MFT) degree programs.  Graduate courses in CMHC and MFT are delivered in online and on-ground formats at the Department’s graduate sites in Siloam Springs, Rogers, Little Rock, and Fort Smith, AR.


Qualified applicants must have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision or Marriage & Family Therapy and be licensed or license-eligible as a professional counselor (LPC or LMHC) or marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in the state they reside.  Preferred candidates will hold a doctorate degree from a CACREP or COAMFTE accredited program and have experience developing and teaching graduate-level counseling curricula in both traditional and online formats.  In addition, a commitment to faith-based education and demonstrated competencies related to integrating spiritual and psychological approaches to counseling are essential.
