Gene White is the Director of Retention and Advising at Southeast Arkansas College. “I really didn't even think that JBU was an option for me. . .Once I got there, I was completely amazed by the program itself. For someone thinking about attending JBU, Gene says, "it's going to be work, but you’re going to enjoy the work that you’re doing in the classrooms… you couldn't make a better choice than to choose JBU for your degree program. You're going to leave the institution more well-rounded and spiritually uplifted with an education that you can take out to the world.”

"My experience like in the Higher Ed Program at JBU was a great one! Because I was already working in higher ed, I was beginning to put pieces of the puzzle together. The program is a comprehensive one and so you see different parts of the university and how things work.”

“Each course allowed me to take an introspective look at what kind of leader I desired to be. I was able to directly relate what I was learning in my classes to my daily work with college students.”
