Leadership Program Requirements

Students may choose to earn either a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a Leadership concentration OR a Master of Science (M.S.) in Leadership. The M.B.A. in Leadership concentrates more on ethical decision-making and leading the organization as a whole. It also focuses more on technical business skills. The Master of Science (MS) in Leadership is a broad degree that focuses more on the people side of this concentration than the business side of leadership.

The M.B.A. program is offered in two tracks for each of the concentrations: a 36-hour track and a 45-hour track. The 36-hour track is for those who have an undergraduate degree or minor in business or a related field with appropriate coursework in management/marketing, accounting, finance, economics and statistics; the 45-hour track is for students who do not have the appropriate undergraduate coursework.
