Maddy Joyce

Because You, I Change Lives.

In high school, Maddy Joyce began learning American Sign Language (ASL) and became a passionate advocate for the Deaf community.

When Maddy led JBU’s campus ministry Friends of ASL, she and a group of students learned basic ASL and attended Deaf church services. Maddy also tested her skills with ASL lessons from hard of hearing individuals. Maddy integrates her passion for the Deaf community and education through her senior research paper "Deaf and Christianity."

Because of generous donors like you, Maddy is able to advocate for hard of hearing individuals at JBU and will continue to in her career.
