The T. Myron Webb and Celia Webb Endowed Scholarship was established by Celia Webb to support JBU students as they pursue a Christ-centered education. Celia’s first contact with JBU was in the late 1950’s through the university’s radio station in California, KGER. Celia and her husband later formed a friendship with Bill and Mary Eva George after the couples met during a church service in California. When Celia passed away in 1999, she generously bequeathed her 30 percent share of the Major Market Stations, which included 2 AM radio stations, to JBU.
