Nancy Ann Craighead VerHoeven graduated from JBU in 1977 with a Business Administration degree. Nancy married Jon VerHoeven, a 1975 JBU alumnus. She was a member of the Board of Directors of the JBU Alumni Association and Chairman of alumni volunteers for Phonathon 82. She was an accountant with Brand-Rex in Siloam Springs. Nancy died as a result of an auto-truck accident in 1982. This scholarship was created in her memory.
