Grace Youmans Davis reflects the third culture identity.  Her father, a surgeon, and mother, an English teacher, were committed to responding to medical and spiritual needs which triangulated between Africa, Europe and the United States.  Grace’s early exposure to multiple languages in diverse global settings nurtured a sensitivity and interest in both language and culture.  A rich and varied education, including Ecole Nouvelle in Belgium, homeschooling and international school in Congo, and an American High School in San Diego, prepared her to attend the University of Redlands in Southern California and earn a degree in Elementary Education.  Her teaching experiences included California, Oklahoma, and Senegal, West Africa before completing graduate studies in Reading/Literacy at Oral Roberts University.  Grace’s focus area is Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).  It is her conviction and passion that all children, regardless of circumstances, should have access to learning.  Through preparing teachers to reach learners of any language and/or culture, she passes forward the gift of her vocation and experience – God has entrusted us with a world of children who are ready to learn.
