The scholarships are also intended to encourage the application of new students who will increase diversity in the graduate programs and who will be effective participants in and contributors to an increasingly complex and diverse world. 2. Maintain satisfactory academic progress in the program.
  3. Explain how you will increase program diversity and strengthen service to various cultural communities and establish how you will be an effective participant in and contributor to an increasingly complex and diverse world.
