John spent fifteen years in youth ministry until he felt led by God to serve young people and their families through counseling. John has counseled adolescents and families at Western Arkansas Counseling and Guidance Center, DaySpring Behavioral Health and in private practice at Fresh Roots Family Counseling. A Minnesotan by birth and an Arkansan by marriage, he and his wife Jennifer have 3 grown children, Jake and wife Brittany, Aaron and wife Jessica, and youngest, Connor. John enjoys teaching, playing the guitar and serving in the worship ministry at church.
