John Brown University is your one-stop-shop for everything you need to host your next banquet or reception. Our friendly events staff will work alongside you on each step of the planning process from room layout to catering to audio and visual needs and everything in between. We understand that events can be expensive, so we customize events based on your budget. Our culinary experts can whip up an impeccable menu in our industrial kitchen for an unforgettable dining experience. JBU offers the latest presentation technology in our event spaces and employs professional technicians for each event requiring technical  support.  Need decorations? The Events Staff will consult with you on the latest decor trends and brainstorm the perfect decoration for your event. When hosting an event at JBU, you simply explain your vision and watch it fall into place.

Perfect for large banquets and can also be converted into two or three smaller rooms at your convenience. Maximum capacity is 600.

Chancellor's Dining Room and Dye Conference Room

Located just off the Simmons Great Hall and are excellent for medium/small meetings and luncheons. Maximum capacity is 12-18 for the Chancellor's Dining Room, and 50 for the Dye Conference Room. The Dye Conference Room is also conveniently housed within the Kresge Dining Hall.

Presentations or Meetings

 

JBU is the perfect location for your next formal presentation or off-site team meeting. JBU houses various lecture halls, performance halls, meeting spaces, and banquet rooms for scholars, students, and the surrounding Northwest Arkansas (NWA) area. Our friendly Events Staff will work to create the perfect setting for your event. Each room is equipped with AV capabilities and has the option for podiums or lecterns. Should you require refreshments, JBU's dining services can provide you with a list of delicious treats and beverages for you to choose from to refresh your guests. We also have suite-style and apartment-style rooms available for overnight guests. 

 

 

Berry Performing Arts Center

This versatile space is equipped with a superior sound system and extensive theatrical lighting for orchestral concerts, choral concerts, theatrical productions, lectures, chapel services, and more. Maximum capacity is 500.

Dye Conference Room and Jones Recital Hall

Dye Conference room is located just off the Simmons Great Hall and is excellent for a medium/small meetings and luncheons. Maximum capacity is 50. Jones Recital Hall is designed with well-balanced acoustics, comfortable seating for guests, and theatrical lighting to accommodate your performance needs. Maximum capacity is 154.

CATHEDRAL OF THE OZARKS

The Cathedral of the Ozarks on JBU's campus is the perfect location for weddings. This historic building features tall, ornate stained-glass windows, beautifully crafted dark wooden pews, and a flawless limestone exterior. Maximum capacity is 1000.

Conferences

As a university, we are familiar with overnight guests with tight schedules, and we are comfortable with the complexity of coordinating a campus full of people with varying obligations. JBU has hosted national conferences, tournaments, summer camps, and various multiple-day programs. Our beautiful campus in Northwest Arkansas (NWA) has over one hundred classrooms and meeting spaces for both plenary and breakout sessions as well as various housing options to conveniently accommodate your group. Our dining hall is centrally located on our campus and can serve three meals a day according to the convenience of your schedule. Our AV Staff is available for tech support across campus. Whether you are here for a weekend or for a week-long conference, JBU would love to have you on campus!

Retreats

If you need time with your team away from your normal environment, JBU is the perfect location. Nestled in the foothills of the Ozark mountains, John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR is quiet and comfortable  - the perfect environment to do some strategic brainstorming or quiet contemplation. Hire the Soderquist Center for Leadership and Ethics to do some team building activities in a board room or on a ropes course. Do some canoeing down the winding Buffalo or Illinois rivers. Sit in silence or stand in worship in our beautiful Cathedral of the Ozarks. Join us for meals in our on-site dining facility. JBU has the resources you need to break away, reevaluate, strategize, and return to the front lines.
