Our campus-wide career fairs provide a direct link for employers to meet and network with current students seeking internships and part-time jobs and upcoming 2017 graduates who will be seeking full-time employment.

There is a $75 registration fee which covers your organization's registration for the event including a table and chair, plus lunch for one representative. Additional meals are $15 per representative. Registration is not complete without payment. If you are paying by credit card, you will need to register here on Handshake and pay here for the payment website (you will also need to  or contact if you would like to pay by invoice. Make sure you fill out the registration form completely. You will need names and emails of all registrants to register. 

Sponsorship Opportunities

You can also register to be a Career Fair Sponsor. Sponsorship spots are limited and will close after we receive 10 sponsors. Sponsorship entitles you to additional access to students, a prime table location, and your organizations name on our advertising materials. Sponsorship costs an additional $100 and needs to be selected on the form below and when making payment. 

This sponsorship includes great benefits, including:

  • Premium location at the Career Fair
  • Recognized on the Career Services website homepage
  • The first six sponsors who sign up will receive a premium parking spot next to Simmons Great Hall
  • Marketing on all social media outlets through Career Services, including Facebook & LinkedIn
  • Recognized on Sponsor passport, given to each student
  • Highlighted in various locations in the student union the day of the fair
  • Company logo included in prime location displays (in the Student Union building. The display will be placed on the window two (2) weeks prior to the fair and taken down at the end of the Spring semester).
To Receive a Special Offer:

We have a special offer for our Employer Partners. If you become an Employer Partner, your career fair registration fee of $75 will be waived (FYI - If you want to sponsor the career fair, there is still an additional $100 in addition to your employer partner fee). Depending on if you are a gold, silver, or bronze partner, you may also get additional representative fees waived as well. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please contact the JBU Career Development center at before you pay for the career fair. On-Campus Interviews

To schedule on campus interviews the day of or the day after the Career Fair, please contact our Career Development Administrative Assistant, Michelle Reed, at 479-524-7263 at least three weeks in advance. Interviews will only be honored through making prior arrangements

The 2017 Fall Career Fair will provide JBU students with a forum in which they may gain experience in the art of gathering career-related information from practicing professionals while providing our employers the opportunity to connect and potentially recruit our talented JBU students. This event is open to all students, alumni, and for the first time our Siloam Springs community.

Making the Most of Your Career Fair Experience
It is easy to feel intimidated at a career fair - that's why it's helpful to do your homework ahead of time. Here are some ways you can prepare:
  • Review the list of employers (will be available soon here) attending the fair in JBU Handshake beforehand and prioritize your top preferences
  • Conduct research on the employers that are high on your preference list using sites such as LinkedIn and Glassdoor
  • Prepare questions for employers based on your goals for the fair, such as career exploration or job search
  • Create your resume (click here for resume resources) and bring copies with you
  • Complete your JBU Handshake profile and make it viewable to employers
