Raynisha Robinson is the Director of Career Development at John Brown University and has over 13 years of HR, consulting and professional coaching experience having worked for retail giant Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Yum Brands (the largest operator of fast food restaurants), and ThyssenKrupp Elevators (the largest producer of elevators in the Americas). 

Her passion is to help individuals understand their kingdom identity (Galatians 2:20) and to continually integrate who they are in Christ with the assignments and vocational opportunities He has/will put before them to advance his kingdom and bring him glory. Her coaching philosophy is "seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matt 6:33)." She has facilitated many career seminars and coaching sessions, and enjoys creating and delivering content on topics such as branding for the kingdom, professional development, career transition, networking and cultural competence. 

Raynisha is a hands-on and purposeful HR professional with experience in talent management, diversity & inclusion programming and employee engagement within Corporate and Higher Education environments. She combines her corporate and consulting experience by identifying needs and opportunities to accelerate growth through individual coaching and programming.

A graduate of John Brown University, Raynisha holds a Bachelor's in Broadcasting Communication and an Associate's Degree in Public Relations. She is a woman of faith, kingdom coach, servant leader, mentor, and is transforming HR and Career Coaching practices by inspiring and equipping clients to lead and serve through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Rebekah Brown is the Project Coordinator for Career Development at John Brown University. She has a M.S. in Higher Education Leadership from Northeastern State University and over 10 years of diverse experience in both private and state institutions. She has worked in various student affairs departments such as residence life, career services, student activities, and student conduct. She is dedicated to helping students achieve their career endeavors. As the Project Coordinator for Career Development at John Brown University, she also assists in virtual career coaching to JBU graduate students, upperclassmen and alumni. Along with coaching, she manages the Career Development website as well as maintaining the Handshake job board which has access to over 200,000 employers. She is the main liaison for our employer relationships and she creates and maintains solid relationships with our employer partners. She is involved in various projects related to this department. Her greatest joy is the opportunity to assist students in leadership development and ultimately, the greater kingdom calling in their lives.

A native Californian and a graduate of Biola University, Michelle transplanted to Arkansas 10 years ago. For the past 5 years, Michelle has worked at John Brown University: first as a Project Coordinator for Soderquist Leadership for 3 years, and now as the Administrative Assistant for Career Development for the past 2 years. Michelle works alongside a team to develop God’s leaders and ensure they are organized, edified, inspired and informed. She helps supervise a team of student workers, manages the team’s budgeting process, oversees employer visits on campus and assists in maintaining the team’s job board, as well as organizes department events such as career fairs. It is Michelle’s hope that as she serves others, Christ’s love will radiate through her to equip and bring order to her team on a daily basis.
