See Something, Say Something encourages you to raise your awareness of people and activity around you. If you see something suspicious on campus, contact Campus Safety. This is true in Siloam Springs in general, but we want to focus on our safety here at JBU.

What Classifies as Suspicious Activity?


As you observe your surroundings on campus, here are examples of suspicious activity that should be reported:

NOTE: Understand that factors such as race, ethnicity, national origin or religious affiliation alone are not suspicious.

  • Criminal/suspicious circumstance
  • Anyone forcible entering a car or home
  • Someone tampering with property
  • Strangers loitering or entering rooms, offices or labs with no apparent legitimate cause

  • Someone carrying a weapon
  • Strange vehicles parked in your area
  • Any behavior that is out of character on a college campus
  • Packages left unattended and that are suspicious or have noxious odors
