What Classifies as Suspicious Activity?
As you observe your surroundings on campus, here are examples of suspicious activity that should be reported:
NOTE: Understand that factors such as race, ethnicity, national origin or religious affiliation alone are not suspicious.
- Criminal/suspicious circumstance
- Anyone forcible entering a car or home
- Someone tampering with property
- Strangers loitering or entering rooms, offices or labs with no apparent legitimate cause

- Strange vehicles parked in your area
- Any behavior that is out of character on a college campus
- Packages left unattended and that are suspicious or have noxious odors
