Here at John Brown University, we value student involvement of extracurricular activities because we believe it helps students adjust to academic life, develop relationships with others and build community. It increases leadership skills, encourages service and promotes self-esteem. We also know that students who are involved are likely to earn better grades, graduate from college and have greater success in landing a job and/or gaining admission to graduate school.
