After you finish your application, your assigned admissions counselor will stay in contact as we review your application, such as test scores and any prior college credit.
Once your application is accepted, you're ready to register for classes. Set up a call or video meeting with your advisor to plan your classes.
Students wishing to enroll at the university without pursuing a degree should indicate this on the application form. Applicants may be asked to submit additional academic information, such as transcripts and test scores (ACT or SAT). Credit earned as a non-degree student may count toward a degree only after students reapply and are accepted for admission under regular student status. The reapplication process will include all relevant transcripts and applicable test scores.
We understand that transferring credits can seem overwhelming. Our admissions staff can give you a free unofficial transcript review to help you determine how your credits will transfer and a plan for finishing your degree.
In addition to taking elective courses, there are several ways students can earn credit toward a JBU Online Undergraduate bachelor's degree. This means you may be able to earn your degree sooner, reducing your overall cost of tuition. Some of JBU's non-traditional credit options include:
JBU has transfer agreements with several community colleges to make transferring credit a breeze. If you don't see your college listed, no worries! Your admissions counselor will work with you to see how your college credits will transfer.
We've done a little research to help you request transcripts from the colleges you've previously attended. We've curated a list of links that may be helpful.
Active military and veterans looking to earn their bachelor's degrees through JBU Online may receive college credit for their military training and occupational specialties.
Equip yourself for a successful career and a life of purpose.
