With Mrs. Carey Pollard

Carey Pollard, Dr. Chip Pollard's Wife Mrs. Carey Pollard has been the “first lady” of JBU for twelve years.  She partners with Chip in a variety of Advancement activities as well as in hosting events in their home, typically over 40 different events a year for 1200-1400 people. She is actively involved in campus life, particularly in chapel, the arts, and athletic events.  She also serves on the board of the Manna Center in Siloam Springs, an interchurch organization that provides food and clothing to people in need.  She has taught the toddler Sunday school class at First Presbyterian Church for 5 years, and serves on the Christian Education committee. She spent most of  the first part of her adult life as homemaker and the mother of four children: James who is 17 and still at home, Emma who is at JBU studying secondary English education, Chad who is married to Anna and lives in Wisconsin, and Ben who passed away in 2011. She and Chip have been married for 30 years.
