I've already registered for classes as an Early Commit student. Should I come to Eagle Base Camp?

Yes! Besides getting to know your classmates on an excursion and seeing your dorm room, you still have important paperwork and other tasks to complete as part of the enrollment process. Coming to Eagle Base Camp means you'll have less work to do at Orientation.

Can I choose to be in Group A or Group B?

Group assignment is based on the date you submitted your deposit.

When will I know what group I'm in?

You will find out your group assignment the week before Eagle Base Camp.

What does Eagle Base Camp cost?

There is a $10 registration fee per student and per guest. The float trip costs an additional $20.

How many guests may I bring?

Students may bring up to two guests. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend.

Can parents go on an excursion?

Excursions are only for students. While their student is away on their excursion, parents may use the parent lounge, attend information sessions or explore Northwest Arkansas on their own.

Are on-campus accommodations available?

On campus accommodations are not available for Eagle Base Camp. View local accommodations.

What if I can't make it to Eagle Base Camp?

You will register in August online with an advisor and complete the enrollment process when you arrive to campus in the fall.

I have a question. Who should I contact?

Please contact your admissions counselor or the Visit Office at campusvisit@jbu.edu or (479) 524-7161.
