Where are you from?  Texas and Ecuador

Major in college? Intercultural Studies, with minors in Spanish and Biblical and Theological Studies

What activities were you involved in at JBU? I was President of MuKappa, a student led organization for missionary kids, and was also involved in the Council of International Friendship. I also did nursing home ministry and small group Bible Studies on campus.

Why are you working at JBU? Have you visited JBU!? Then you already know—the people here are incredibly kind and helpful, our campus is beautiful, and there’s lots of great learning going on! I want students to experience this encouragement and support as they seek the Lord in all areas of life—both inside and out of the classroom.

What are your favorite things to do in NWA? I love enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, swimming, canoeing, or just exploring, I’m always up for an adventure!

What are some movies you enjoy? I’m not a huge movie-watcher, but I think I could watch Tangled every day for a week!

Describe your family: Awesome! My brother is hands-down the funniest guy I know and my sister is my best friend. My parents are super smart and are an incredible example of walking with the Lord. We love to hike through the Andes Mountains and can be a bit obsessive about board games!

What quick advice would you give an incoming JBU student? Jump in with both feet! The first couple of months are an especially great time to meet awesome people and get involved in different activities. Just remember that making new friends isn’t limited to the first year—take the initiative and keep reaching out even into senior year. There are so many awesome people to get to know!
