Where will I stay during Summer Academy?
Students will be paired with other students in a Residence Hall. Check out the JBU residence halls.
What is the cost of Summer Academy?
Check out each individual Academy for costs. Academy registration fees will cover all meals, supplies, and activities from Sunday night - Saturday morning of the academy. There is an additional fee for housing on-campus.
What do I need to bring?
-Bedding for a twin bed
-Pencils, pens, paper
Engineering Academy Specific:
-Earbuds or headphones
-Long pants (For Power Plant Tour)
-Closed Toe Shoes (For Power Plant Tour)
-Laptop or Tablet
-Spending money for evening outings
Do I need to bring bedding and towels?
Yes. You will need bedding or a sleeping bag for a twin size mattress.
Can I be picked up from the airport?
Yes. Limited transportation is available to/from Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) and from Tulsa International Airport (TUL). There is a fee ($10 each way) for this shuttle service.
What kind of clothes do I need to wear?
Summer Academy is a casual event, so wear comfortable, casual clothes...like you would at school. More detailed information will be provided as necessary for each individual academy.
How do I sign up?
Registration will open on February 1, 2017. Check back then for more information!
