Summer Academy dates are subject to change

At this time, we are still planning to host Summer Academies in late July 2020. However, JBU has and will continue to make decisions in accordance with directives from the Arkansas Department of Health, the CDC, the World Health Organization and the U.S. State Department. As such, Summer Academies are subject to changes of scheduling or cancelation.

All 2020 Summer Academies Have Been Cancelled

Summer Academy 2019

 Concerned about safety?

Your student will be chaperoned by our expert faculty, staff and student resident assistants at all times. Students will be housed together based on gender and under the supervision of a resident assistant.

Worried you won't have fun?

We have plenty of fun activities like bowling, game night and going out to eat planned for the evenings.

Make choosing a major easier

This is definitely not a week of lectures. Our expert faculty have put together fun projects to help you see if the subject is a good fit. At the end of each academy, parents will be invited to a showcase where students can show off their work from the week.

The Details

Students will be paired with other summer academy students in a residence hall.
