I came to JBU because I wanted a rigorous program that would prepare me for medical school. At JBU, I have access to state of the art facilities and enjoy the individualized attention of small classes. I'm learning from professors with years of professional experience who are regularly awarded prestigious teaching and research grants. I'm getting the hands-on experience I need to achieve my goals.
JBU students represent 42 states and 40 different countries. I sit in classrooms with students from all over the world with different life experiences. I get to know them and hear their stories as we live together, study together and play together. It makes me realize there is a whole world out there that I have yet to experience.
At JBU, I found a community where I belong, a place that feels like home. Being part of the soccer team has enriched my college experience and help me develop a passion for using sports as a ministry. Everyone is deeply connected and has a genuine concern for the well-being of each other of all aspects of life-spiritually, academically and physically.
Seong Jae Jo:
"Christ Over All" is not just a motto, it's lived out every day. The teaching, support and prayer of my friends and professors has strengthened my walk with Christ even through challenging times. It is a privilege to learn how to lead others in worship and live out my calling during chapel service and at local church services. John Brown University is where I was meant to be.
