The Biochemistry program is really aimed at preparing our students to have basic foundational knowledge. We get to work with all the students personally and they have direct experience working with all the instrumentation that we have available.
Our classrooms are so small, we really get that hands-on experience of being able to use the machines and not having to wait till graduate school to learn how to use them.
It creates a lot of opportunities for students to really have various pathways that they can go.
I love the smaller class size too. You learn a lot more and you get a lot more experience with the machines. You're not going into it blindly. You have someone there helping you that's seen people go before or who has even done it themselves.
Students get to see not only the complications, if you like, and complexity of Creation, but the uniqueness of God, who made all of that.
