Please make plans to join us for the Office for Advancement of Teaching, Learning, and Scholarship’s Christmas Open House on Thursday, December 8, from 3:00-4:30 pm on the third floor of the Cathedral.  We will be offering tours of our Lightboard Studio, where you can record lectures while writing on a glass chalkboard.  This allows you to face toward your viewers while writing.  For a sample, click here.  In addition, we would love to show you our newest recording space, the One Button Studio.  This studio is private and fully automated.  You simply insert a USB which turns on the studio lights and camera, push the button to record, and push the button when you are finished.  You can then remove your USB and go—it’s that easy.  We will also have an Instructional Technology Playground where you can experiment with a Swivl, Bloggie, conference camera, Blackboard Collaborate, Google 3D Viewers, laptop, and iPad

If you’re not already sufficiently enticed to make the trip over to the Cathedral, come for the goodies from Rick’s Bakery.  Prizes will be given to the first 25 people.

I also wanted to let you know that you can sign up to receive notices when a new blog is posted on our website.  If you already use an RSS feed, look for the orange icon on our blog.  If not, you can use a free service such as https://blogtrottr.com/ or https://www.feedmyinbox.com/ to have new posts sent to you as an email.

We hope to see you at our Christmas Open House.  Have a blessed holiday season!
