Meet the Resident Director of the Townhouses
My name is Cassie Isaacson, and I am the Resident Director of the Townhouses. I grew up in San Jose, California, which is located in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies (Elementary Education). Some of the most important avenues of growth during my time at APU were international experiences in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Mexico, and these fueled my love for learning about different cultures.
After college, I accepted a job with a study abroad program in Quito, Ecuador called Living & Learning International, and worked as a part of their student life staff for a year and a half. It was through that position that I realized my love for discipling and leading college students, and I decided to pursue the field of higher education here at JBU! In addition to serving as the Townhouse RD, I am also currently working on my M.A. in Higher Education.
A lot happens during college to set the trajectory of a student's life. I saw firsthand the impact that mentors, professors, and leaders at my university had on my spiritual, emotional, and social development and that is what excites me about working in residence life. I am so thankful to be here at JBU living life with these awesome students!
