Sending and Receiving Mail on Campus

The mailroom is open for business from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We are closed Saturday and during chapel.
If you need to "overnight" something it MUST be in the mailroom by 3 p.m. for Airborne. For FedEx it needs to be in the mailroom by 2 p.m. and for Ground and Home Delivery the piece of mail must be in the post office by 11 a.m. for same day pickup.

Metered Mail Preparation
The mail is picked up at 4 p.m. All outgoing mail must be in the mailroom by 3:25 p.m. to go out that day. Mailings of 100 or more pieces need to be in the post office by 3 p.m. Mondays and Fridays should be avoided for large mailings, as these are the days of heaviest mail flow.
Please separate campus, U.S. and international mail into bundles.
Regular, business size envelopes (unsealed) arranged with flaps overlapping.
Large or bulky envelopes need to be sealed - with edges secured.
Mailings of 250 or more may be arranged in trays (available at the mailroom) to transport to the mailroom.
If outgoing mail is deposited in the mail slot, please bundle it with rubber bands.
Please have your name/dept name on the outside of the envelope so we know who to charge. This will also allow us to return it to you in case it comes back.
DHL is for international mail only and must be in the mailroom by 2 p.m.
"AIR MAIL" should be stamped or written on each international item.
International mail larger than a business size envelope needs a customs form (available from the mailroom) filled out - dated with the date it will be mailed. An amount must also be shown in the "amount" section.
If you are expecting a package by courier:
- DHL arrives at 10:30 a.m.
- FedEx Express by noon.
- FedEx Ground at anytime
- UPS arrives at 2 p.m.
