JBU: Matthew '06, Debra '06, Mark '08

Our older son Matt and his wife Debra (Johnson) had such a great experience of spiritual, social, academic and vocational growth at JBU that our younger son Mark really never seriously considered any other university.

Matt and Mark are very different with totally different majors - Digital Media Arts and Engineering - so we were extremely pleased to find that JBU had what both of them needed: a Biblical worldview supported by the administration and faculty, a Christ-centered environment where students are challenged to grow in all facets of life, and academic excellence in preparation for their chosen vocations.

Matt has been known to describe JBU as Kanakuk Kamp with classes. Mark says it is definitely college and engineering is extremely challenging, but he loves the experience. So regardless of their perspectives, JBU has delivered for our students, and the university has exceeded our expectations.
