Can't find my course in Blackboard?
Contact your instructor by email and let them know their course is not showing up for you in Blackboard. If you do not know who your instructor is you can contact the Office of Distance Learning at 479-238-8680 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can't get my computer to work or my internet service is down?
It is the student's responsibility to have a backup plan in case of equipment failure. If you are close to one of JBU's campuses there are labs available during their open hours. The locations include the main campus at Siloam Springs and the urban centers at Rogers, Fort Smith and Little Rock. Here is a link to addresses: Urban Centers. Many public libraries also have computers available to use.
Don't understand how to use Wimba or some other technology my instructor is requiring?

If you are unable to access Blackboard through EagleNet try going to http://classes.jbu.edu and login from there.
Am experiencing problems using Blackboard.
Some users have experienced issues with Blackboard that can be caused by the web browser and settings that are being used. If you are having trouble with one web browser try another of the supported browsers listed below. Also, if you are unable to resolve your problem by switching to one of these compatible browsers then please contact the helpdesk for further assistance, available 24/7: 479-524-7256 or email email@example.com
- Internet Explorer 8 and Internet Explorer 9 are tested in Standards Mode. Some known issues can be resolved by using Compatibility Mode (emulates IE7 behavior).
- Both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox have moved to a rapid release cycle. At the time of testing, Chrome 10.0 and Firefox 4.0 were the latest available versions. Since then, new stable versions have been released and widely adopted. Blackboard is supporting all newer stable versions of Chrome and Firefox.
- Safari 4.0 and 5.0 are also supported.
