Siloam Springs, Ark (January 27, 2004) - The John Brown University alumni office is calling all alumni in the Siloam Springs area to participate as Trail Keepers for the Dogwood Springs Trail Keepers Program. Moss Financial Group and JBU are co-sponsors of a portion of the Dogwood Springs Trail that runs up University Street alongside the JBU campus and the Admissions building. The program encourages local businesses and organizations to adopt a portion of the Dogwood Springs Trail. Trail Keepers sponsors will help beautify their section with trees, shrubs, and flowers. Alumni interested in participating may join other alumni for their first organizational meeting on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 7:00 p.m. at 15117 Highway 43 North in Siloam Springs. “This is a great opportunity for area alumni to not only get together but be of service to our community,” Adriane Carr, director of alumni and parent relations said. The Dogwood Springs Trail is currently 4 miles long, beginning at the La-Z-Boy sports complex, winding through downtown, past the JBU campus, and ending near Siloam Springs high school.
