Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 16, 2010) - NWA Healthy Marriages, a community service of the Center for Relationship Enrichment (CRE), will offer the “I Choose Us” seminar on April 24, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Golden Living Center. The cost of workshop is $29 per couple and reservations are required.
This new seminar will equip married couples with tools to overcome unhealthy anger, cultivate healthy conflict and increase levels of safety and trust within the marriage.
Couples can register for the event online at www.nwamarriages.com, or by calling 479-524-7444. Registration deadline is April 21, 2010. Doors open at 8:30 and a box lunch is available for $20 per couple.
CRE is on the third of a five-year, $2.7 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families, to support research and development of healthy marriages in Northwest Arkansas. The grant covers most of the cost of the seminar, which would otherwise cost more than $200 per couple.
