Siloam Springs, Ark. (February 20, 2008) - John Brown University is pleased to announce the opening of its annual Student’s Works Exhibit. The exhibit showcases the talent of nearly ninety JBU students from various majors. The art show opens with a reception on Thursday, Feb. 28, 6:00 p.m-7:30 p.m. in the lobby of the art building and will be on display through Thursday, March 13 “This is a great opportunity for students from all majors to show off their creative talent,” said Neal Holland, Professor of Digital Media. “We have very talented students at JBU and this is a great way for the community to get to see just a sample of what they can do with their skills. Our students are fortunate to have an art gallery to display their work.” The featured art work will be organized into five different categories including; drawing, painting, graphic design, photography, and interactive design/2D animation. Students will be competing for prizes that will be awarded opening night of the exhibit. Special showings can be arranged for groups who are not able to come during normal gallery hours. Normal gallery hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Sunday afternoon from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. All gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.
