Burns Appointed to NACDA
Siloam Springs, Ark (February 9, 2004) — Dr. Bob Burns, director of intercollegiate athletics at John Brown University, has been appointed to a four-year term on the executive committee of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). The association membership includes the NAIA, NCAA, and NJCAA organizations that collectively represent approximately 3,000 institutions. The NACDA provides those in the intercollegiate athletics administration educational opportunities, as well as providing networking within the field. John Brown University is a top-tier private university, ranked 11th by U.S. News & World Report in the Southern Region. JBU enrolls more than 1,800 students from 42 states and 42 countries. JBU is a member of Arkansas’ Independent Colleges and Universities and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
