(October 22, 2003) - (Wynne-AP) -- The city of Wynne is seeing progress in the rear view mirror. There's progress in the door handles, too. A Japanese company said yesterday it will open a $15 million plant in Wynne that will make auto parts. The company will eventually employ about 250 people. They will make rearview mirrors, door handles and other component parts. Wynne beat out Brownsville, Tennessee, in the months-long search by Sakae Riken Kogyo Company of Japan for a plant site. Construction is to begin in January.
