(October 15, 2003) - (Little Rock-AP) -- Governor Huckabee says he is open to suggestions from legislators who may say they may support to his education reforms. But the governor says he won't spend much time meeting with opponents before a December special session. A legislative committee meeting yesterday agreed to ask for a meeting with Huckabee. The governor accepted after legislators said they hoped to move toward a plan on which the administration and the General Assembly can agree. The state is under an Arkansas Supreme Court order to improve the public schools. Huckabee says he'll call a special legislative session on December eighth.
