First Lady to Speak at JBU Chapel

Siloam Springs, Ark (September 9, 2003) — For the first time since 1919, John Brown University’s Cathedral of the Ozarks will open its doors to media and members of the press on Thursday, September 18th as the JBU Student Government Association presents First Lady of Arkansas Janet Huckabee

WHO: JANET HUCKABEE, presented by the John Brown University Student Government Association

WHAT: SGA will be using the chapel time to speak about their organization’s upcoming projects and what SGA can do for the students. Mrs. Huckabee will be speaking on the importance and need of getting involved in politics.

WHEN: 10:30 a.m., September 18, 2003

WHERE: The Chapel of the Ozarks on the John Brown University Campus

Media will be allowed to shoot video and take still photos from the back of the bottom floor or balcony during chapel. Interviews with Janet Huckabee and University Faculty will immediately follow chapel. John Brown University is a private Christian university and a member of the Arkansas Independent Colleges and Universities, the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and the Council of Independent Colleges.
