Maumelle, Arkansas (March 28, 2012) — JBU senior golfer West Loveland earned the first individual win of his collegiate career on Tuesday after shooting a 3-under par 141 in the two-day Mustang Invitational taking place at The Country Club of Arkansas in Maumelle. 

"This is huge for us, and I'm so proud of West," said head golf coach Brian Thomas.  "It gives the team confidence for the rest of the year, and it shows that we can compete at a high level."

Loveland guided the JBU men to a third place finish overall behind tournament host and winner Central Baptist (Ark.) and runner-up Central Christian (Mo.).

Junior Nathan Sudheimer was second for JBU and tied for 14th overall after shooting a 161.  Senior Matt Brooker finished tied for 19th with a 164.  Freshman Bryce Coy was 30th with a 173.  And sophomore Cameron Lindsey was tied for 33rd with a 176.

Justin Burns of Central Baptist finished second overall individually after shooting 142.
